brunches this week…
Lately I have been craving breakfast foods around bruch- time. The other day I peeled, diced and sauteed a potato, green pepper, white onion, along with a slice of bacon –
And today I made my version of an egg mcmuffin.. a thin slice of honey ham rather than Canadian Bacon, fried egg, cheese on English muffin.
I like apple jelly– so I smothered the cheese side with the jelly, put the two halves together and cut it in half.. Just as good as an egg mcmuffin.
I have a tiny round frying pan I use to fry the egg…
I used to love going to the JW Marriott in Washington on Sundays for their champaign brunches.. no, I seldom had the champaign– but did have coffee and orange juice. I am surprised I used to eat the things I ate and never exercised.. preferring to fast.
Today– I have a slice of bacon and think about the number of minutes it will take to expend the 35 calories the slice of bacon contains. not even going to worry about the fat.
Yes, been on the elliptical for all sessions this week including the days I had these yummy fat foods… rainy, good food– I am in a great mood.
