CamStudio is a free software package you can download to create short movie clips from your own screen actions on a Windows platform. Here is an example:
I am using my Java Media Player to present this file.
I also use iMovie on the Mac side to create movies for online use– however this is normally starting with an avi file as produced by my camera. Not all AVI files are the same. AVI files produced from CamStudio, though able to import to iMovie– for some reason, when exported generate the audio but a black screen for the video. I checked around on Mac forums and found others had the same problem.
I am using the standard iMovie software that came with my MacBook and the pro version may provide more functionality.
I wanted to tell you about CamStudio in more detail– because I want you to see the possibilities if you acquire your own Java Media Player.
The other reason– sounded like the surveillance people did not want you to know– what they know and I resent these people watching as I research and learn new things– which they are then able to use to their own benefit. I think everyone should know what I know– if these people get to know.
I write code while tented. I research finds like this as well as produce clips– while untented. good luck.
