Lowes [hardware store] opened at 7:00 a.m. this morning and I was there by 7:30 a.m. I wore a long brown tweed-like wool dress I got from Eddie Bauer about 7 or 8 years ago– belted at the bodice, black suede 2″ boots and my short wool black jacket that snaps.

I was there so early– most of the employees were in the paint section having their staff meeting. Later, I went to the mall to look for gifts. It was a lot warmer later– so I adjusted my outfit:

I did not feel like redoing my hair– so I pulled it back with a tortoise shell barrette.

Why was I at Lowes? Because I like pretending I am MacGyver [Richard Dean Anderson].
